Scented Home Fragrance Ginger Essential Oil Zingiber officinalis has a thin pale yellow to yellow color and a warm, spicy, woody scent with a hint of lemon and pepper.
Ginger Essential Oil is the most potent form of ginger because it contains the highest levels of gingerol. This is the primary way ginger can be used as medicine. It can be taken internally to treat health conditions or rubbed topically with a carrier oil on an area of pain. Typically, two to three drops of essential oil is the recommended therapeutic dose.
Ginger Essential Oil is a good expectorant and used to help with various respiratory problems such as colds, cough, flu, asthma, bronchitis, and breathlessness.
The American Cancer Society suggests that Ginger Oil can help people get through nausea associated with chemotherapy. Ginger is an ingredient in perfumery as well as an additive in foods, ginger ale and ginger beer.
Ginger heals the angry heart. It refines the heart chakra to open to a higher love expression.
Uses: Aroma oil burner, bath (with proper carrier oil), food and drink, inhaler, light bulb ring, massage, mist spray or tea.
Ginger is excellent as a tea for digestive issues. (Avoid if pregnant)
Aids with sluggish menses.
